The show brings to the stage four short stories by the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov - The Drama, A Malefactor, Razmazniá, and The Chorus Girl - exploring, in these short stories, scenes from everyday life that deal with good humor, injustice, judgments, and human conflicts.

Brief history
"The Duel and Other Stories by Anton Chekhov" (2015), as the title suggests, is a play consisting of four Chekhov stories: The Duel, A Malefactor, Razmazniá and The Chorus Girl, adapted directly from Russian. In these stories, the playwright proposes ambiguous situations that reveal, in his characters, hidden sides of ourselves. The creative process had the assistance of Armenian actor Arman Saribekyan, of the Théâtre du Soleil (France).
2015: On July 23rd and 24th, 2015, the two performances (open rehearsals) were held at Lume Teatro, in Barão Geraldo, Campinas-SP. On August 5th, 2015, it performed at the event A obra dramatúrgica de Anton Tchekhov: como encená-la (The dramatic work of Anton Chekhov: how to stage it), held by the Grupo Letra e Ato, at Unicamp Faculty of Arts, Campinas-SP. 2016: With a new cast, the play had its premiere in July with three performances at CIS Guanabara, in Campinas. In September it was at SESC Maceió. 2017: The play passed through SESC Campinas in March, and through SESI Tatuí, in October. 2018: In celebration for the group's 10th anniversary, a performance was held during the General Theater Show, at the Theater Art and Craft.
