Synopsis<\/b><\/h3>\n

\u201cNumbers\u201d is a comedy in which a group of traveling artists multiply themselves in various roles to present a series of numbers inspired by the circus tradition.<\/span><\/p>\n

A show that translates the artist's love for their audience and bet on human talent to perform the alchemy that transforms the poverty of material resources into art, becoming a metaphor not only for the situation of the artist today, but also for the Brazilian people themselves. Also he, an alchemist who transforms his material misery into art, joy, and beauty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its premiere in 2008, the play has participated in several festivals, such as the Festival Internacional de Acciones Esc\u00e9nicas (Lima, Peru), 17\u00b0 Festival de Teatro de Florian\u00f3polis \u2013 Isnard Azevedo (Florian\u00f3polis \u2013 SC), and has won several awards, such as the Best Show Award at the Festival de Teatro da Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana de Campinas (2008), and the Best\nShow, Best Ensemble of Actors, and Best Costume Design Awards at the 24th Festival Internacional de Teatro Universit\u00e1rio de Blumenau (FITUB), in 2011.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When the show was presented at FITUB, theater director Marco Antonio Rodrigues, in a review published at the festival, wrote that \"This is how it is, the inflation of tramp clowns invading the stages, the squares, the corners of the country (...) Therefore, it is difficult to make a tramp clown show without us getting sick of the smell. But this is not a tramp clown show, it is a show of clowns from a peripheral circus, with all the sophistication of its roots. (...) Of good circus, related to this circus without tent from the street vendors, people with cunning and mischief capable of sold us a bill of goods, taking home miraculous herb knowing that it is just grass.
